Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The following streets are being considered for reconstruction: Cooke Lane - Castle Shannon Blvd to 410 Castle Shannon Blvd Firwood Drive - 1272 Firwood Drive to Inlet at Rawley Drive Hoodridge Lane - Mt. Lebanon Boulevard to 63 Hoodridge Lane Payton Drive - Sandrae Drive to Pat Haven Drive Pembroke Drive - Moreland Drive to Clemson Drive Ruth Street - Linda Lane to Pinoak Road The following streets are being considered as alternates for reconstruction: Austin Avenue Bower Hill Road to Terraceview Drive Glaids Drive Lakemont Drive to Folkstone Drive Ordale Boulevard Cherokee Place to Standish Boulevard Questend Avenue Richland Road to Sunset Drive Terrace Drive Woodland Drive to 1390 Terrace Drive Washington Rd Parallel Parking Bower Hill Rd to Oak Way Mt. Lebanon is soliciting sealed proposals for the following projects: 1. South Garage 2026 Repairs Contract: This project involves concrete repairs, including but not limited to, structural concrete repairs, and caulk sealant replacement to the South Garage. All mobilization, general condition requirements, dust control, pedestrian and vehicular traffic control, notifications, temporary facilities, temporarily relocating electrical items, safety equipment, site photography, project management, and restoration of disturbed areas are considered incidental to this contract. 2. Mt. Lebanon 2026 Street Maintenance Program: Major bid items include milling of existing materials, ADA ramps, leveling with one (1) inch thick bituminous pavement (where applicable), 1-1/2 inch thick minimum bituminous overlay, and bituminous binder throughout the municipality. 3. Mt. Lebanon 2026 Road Reconstruction Program: Major bid items are new bituminous pavement (1 ½" Superpave 9.5 mm bituminous wearing surface, 1 ½" Superpave 19.0 mm bituminous binder, and Superpave 25.0 mm bituminous concrete base course), removal and reconstruction of existing base, removal/replacement of concrete pavement, construction of roof drain collectors, removal and reconstruction of concrete curbs, handicapped ramps, construction and reconstruction of storm inlets, storm and sanitary sewer manholes, installation of new storm sewer pipe, and construction of green infrastructure projects. 4. Public Safety & Public Works Façade Repairs: This project involves work at the Mt. Lebanon Public Safety Center and Public Works Yard Building. Work includes tuckpointing stone and brick mortar joints, repairing cracked bricks and stones, rebuilding brick, CMU block infill, brick masonry infill, cutting and caulking various joints and perimeters, lintel repairs and/or replacements, pressure washing and cleaning the façade, and other miscellaneous items along the designated façades of the buildings. Instructions to Bidders: - All proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the project name as specified for each contract. - Bidders for street maintenance and road reconstruction must be PennDOT pre-qualified, and their valid pre-qualification certification must be attached to the outside of the bid. - Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal, made to the Municipality of Mt. Lebanon. - Performance, maintenance, and labor and material payment bonds, along with insurance certificates, must be filed with the executed agreement upon acceptance. - Bid specifications must be purchased separately for each project. No refund or exchange will be made for returned documents. - All proposals must remain firm for sixty (60) days. No bidder may withdraw their proposal during this period without forfeiting their bid guarantee. - The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof, and to waive informalities.
