The City of Gainesville seeks bids to provide chemicals for its Riverside Water Treatment Plant, Lakeside Water Treatment Plant, Flatcreek Water Reclamation Facility, and Linwood Water Reclamation Facility. Delivery of chemicals is expected to be available for use at the plants no later than July 1, 2026. Bidders must submit one original and one copy of their bid in a sealed envelope clearly marked 'Annual Chemical Bid - 26012.' Bids must be received by the Purchasing Department by 2:00 P.M. EST on 03/26/26. All items must meet or exceed the city's specifications. The City reserves the right to waive technicalities, reject or accept any bid, or accept any portion thereof as deemed to be in its best interest. Bids will remain valid for ninety days from the date of opening and may not be delivered by facsimile transmission or other telecommunication or solely by electronic means.
