The project involves replacing the chiller system and making selected HVAC modifications inside the Gym/Cafeteria building. Electronic bids are to be submitted by the specified deadline. Late bids will not be considered. Bidders should verify correct email delivery. All Prime Bidders, Sub-bidders, and Suppliers must obtain bidding documents and any addenda from the provided hyperlink; hard copies are not provided. A mandatory pre-bid conference and walk-through will be held at the specified location and time. Statements made at the conference are only binding if confirmed by written addendum. Each bid must include an electronic copy of a Surety Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid. All addenda must be properly indicated on the bid form. Either with the bid or within two working hours after the bid deadline, information about first-tier subcontractors must be provided electronically. The original Surety Bond or check must be mailed or hand-delivered and postmarked within three days of the bid deadline. Bidders must be properly registered or licensed at the time the bid is made. Contractors and Subcontractors with bids of $100,000 or more must have a $30,000 public works bond filed, unless exempt, and provide proof with contract documents. Each bid must declare residency status and agree to comply with prevailing wage requirements. Contractors must certify nondiscrimination in obtaining subcontractors. The owner reserves the right to reject noncompliant bids, postpone award, waive informalities, select the bid in the district's best interest, or reject all bids.
