Each bid must be submitted in an opaque, sealed envelope, addressed to the Public Works Director, City of Veneta, with the project title clearly marked on the outside. Bids not properly marked may be disqualified. No electronic or facsimile submittals are accepted. Project documents are available on the City of Veneta's website and at Veneta City Hall. Prospective bidders can be added to the Plan Holders List by sending company contact information by e-mail with the project title in the subject line. Bidders are responsible for checking the website for addenda and changes prior to submitting their bid. No prequalification is required for this project. The contract is for Public Work and subject to relevant prevailing wage laws. All questions about the meaning or intent of the contract documents shall be submitted to the City representative in writing. If merited, replies may be issued by addendum, mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the City representative as having received the bidding documents, per City Public Contracting Rule 137-049-0250. Requests for changes and clarifications shall be submitted in accordance with City Public Contracting Rule 137-049-0260. Only questions answered by formal written addenda will be binding.
