The Project consists of site improvements to renovate three Orchestra lifts in two of the theatres, "The Lyric and Community Theatre" within the California Center for the Arts, Escondido ("CCAE"). Improvements include removal and replacement of existing orchestra lifts. Furnish all necessary material and equipment to complete the works per plans, specs and bid schedule located at 340 N. Escondido Blvd., Escondido, CA 92025. The Prime Contractor on this project shall have a "Class 'A' or Class 'B' contractor's license from the State of California. The Prime Contractor shall perform 51% or more of all contract work. Project plans and specifications are available as a free download from the City of Escondido's website. Contractors must register as a bidder on BidNet Direct to ensure that they receive any issued addenda or updates. All sealed bid documents must be enclosed in a separate envelope and clearly marked as specified. A sealed bid must be clearly marked with the name of the project and time-stamped at the City Clerk's Office before 1:30 p.m. on March 24, 2026 to be considered timely. A mailed bid shall be double wrapped with an external shipping envelope that contains the separately sealed bid documents.
