Moline High School scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the renovation of the existing multi-user toilet rooms in B-Wing and J-Wing. Renovation includes, but is not limited to, demolishing the existing restrooms in their entirety and installing new fixtures, finishes, and walls throughout the spaces. 2. Work will be completed over two phases: a. Phase 1 - Summer 2026: B-Wing only. b. Phase 2 - Summer 2027: J-Wing only. B. Contract Scope: Construction, demolition, and facility operations during occupancy. C. Contract Terms: Lump sum (fixed price, stipulated sum). Lump sum bids are required for the Moline High School Toilet Room Renovations. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference and make a site visit, with the site visit pre-arranged with 48-hour notice. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash equal to 10 percent of the base bid must be included. Bids must be submitted in an opaque, sealed envelope, clearly marked for the project, and delivered to the Moline-Coal Valley School District No. 40. All bidders must comply with Illinois prevailing wage laws and Equal Employment Opportunity laws. The project will be constructed under terms of the IMPACT Agreement with the Illowa Construction Labor and Management Council, and all sub-bidders must adhere to this as well. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and make the award in the district's best interest.
