Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. Working plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.

*This project is current on hold and will be re advertised in the future. No additional information is available at this time. Replacement of Bridge 035C00068N. This bridge carries CS-1108 (Cemetery Lane) over Town Branch. New structure will be a 55’ long Precast Prestressed Composite Box Beam two-span bridge. The existing bridge will need demolished/removed in its entirety, outside of Abutment 1. Abutment 1 will need to stay in place to shore up adjacent utilities & road. Refer to the contract plans/specifications/documents for details. All contractors shall be prequalified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet in their applicable categories of work at the time of bid opening. Proof of current prequalification must be submitted with the bid. All contractors must be pursuant to KRS 45A.485 (Kentucky Procurement Code). A 5% Bid Bond or Certified Check for 5% of the project is required. The project shall follow the Kentucky Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction – current edition.
