CULVERT RETROFIT CONTRACT (1C-26) in Mercer, Raleigh, Fayette, and Kanawha counties. Construction under this contract shall commence after NTP and must be completed by May 14, 2027. Paper bid submissions will not be accepted and all bids must be submitted electronically via Bid Express. Proposals must be made via Bid Express in the manner designated in the specifications and must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check or bid bond in favor of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal or $2,000 whichever is the greater. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted, and to waive any or all formalities in bidding, as it may deem in its best interest. All firms submitting proposals must certify that they practice Equal Employment Opportunities. Minority Owned and Women Owned businesses are strongly encouraged to submit proposals for this contract. Pre-qualification requirements: Prospective bidders must be prequalified in accordance with SECTION 102.1 of the WVDOH Standard Specifications. All bids submitted by bidders who have been debarred or declared ineligible by the Director of the Purchasing Division shall be rejected.
