Sealed bids are requested to perform the construction work for the Norman Public Schools - 2026 Central Services Reroof. The Owner will use the general contractor method and accept a single bid for all required work. Interested parties must arrange an appointment with the Architect to review documents and visit the site; site visits without prior arrangement or unescorted walks are not allowed. A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held as specified in the Construction Documents. One set of Construction Documents is available to interested parties for a refundable deposit; additional copies are not refundable. Electronic copies are available for a non-refundable fee or can be downloaded at no cost. Deposits for paper sets are refundable if documents are returned within seven days of bid opening. Pre-Bid Meeting 03/23/2026 Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, including executed copies of the Non-Collusion and Business Relationship Affidavits. Each bid must include a Bidder's Bond, which may be an irrevocable letter of credit, cashier's check, or bid bond, made payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five percent of the largest combination of the base bid and any alternates. Cash is not acceptable. The Contractor may forfeit the Bid Bond if they fail to execute a contract or provide required bonding and insurance. Upon acceptance, a contract will be executed with all bonding and insurance attached. Bids may not be withdrawn for thirty calendar days after opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity. The intent of this Bid request is to obtain an offer to overlay existing roofing located at NPS Central Services for a single Stipulated Sum contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents.
