Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Norman, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

Cleveland County will accept bids on a Non-Encumbered Contract for crack sealing, large crack and transverse depressed crack repairs for chip seal and asphalt roadways, driveways, and parking lots in Cleveland County. A Non-Collusion Affidavit is part of the bid requirements. Bid documents with specifications may be picked up from the County Purchasing Department. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted. General & Preparation: The following list of bid items are for crack sealing with Hot Applied Crack Sealant, large crack sealing using Hot Applied Mastic, and transverse depressed crack repair using Hot Applied Mastic. Each bid items includes crack preparation, which includes: cleaning of dirt, vegetation and debris from crack and surface prior to product application using Powered Wire Wheels and Air. Products specified should be installed in a workmanlike manner and all cracks should be clean and dry when the product is installed. Contractor to furnish all tools and materials to perform the job as described. 1. Crack Sealing: Cracks one-quarter inch or greater in width, up to one and one half inch in width should be crack sealed using the following product or equivalent: Road Saver 515. The Hot Applied Road Saver 515 Crack Sealant (or equivalent) should be applied in multiple lifts as required until the crack is full, allowing time in between application of lifts for the crack sealant to cool. Final lift of products should not be raised and should be kept tight with the pavements surface. Product should be melted and applied using a diesel fired oil jacketed melter with hydraulic agitation and heated hose applicator. 2. Large Crack Sealing and Transverse Depressed Crack Repair: Cracks one and one half inch in width and wider should be sealed and repaired using the following product or equivalent: Mastic One. The Hot Applied Mastic One (or equivalent) should be applied in multiple lifts as required until the crack is full, allowing time in between application of lifts for the mastic products to cool. Final lift of product should not be raised and should be kept tight with the pavement's surface. Cracks that have been sealed with crack sealant and/or mastic and have a crack depression affecting the roads rideability should also be treated using Mastic One (or equivalent). The Hot Applied Mastic One (or equivalent) should be applied using a steel drag box, wide enough to cover and bridge the overall width of the transverse crack depression. The crack should be sealed prior to the drag box application. Drag box applications should be kept tight with the pavement's surface. Mastic One (or equivalent) product should be melted using a diesel fired oil jacketed melter with hydraulic agitation and real discharge for material.
