The Facilities Construction R&A East CMT of the United States Postal Service is soliciting proposals for a Backflow Preventer Upgrade project at the United States Postal Service owned Jersey City MPO, 69 Montgomery Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302, Hudson County. The estimated cost of the work is between $3,000,000 and $4,000,000. Construction completion is required no later than four hundred (400) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Contractors must coordinate all work in a manner that will not interfere with operations and must coordinate all phases of the project with the Facility Manager or designee. The project requires submission of a Sub-Contracting Plan and a Project Specific Safety Plan acceptable to the USPS Contracting Officer before issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Contractors must be able to obtain 100 percent performance and payment bonds within seven (7) calendar days of receiving a Notice of Intent to Award. Proposals must include technical evaluation plan materials, a price proposal with signed offer and award pages, schedule of values, and any applicable schedules of unit prices or alternates. Affirmation of contract terms and conditions, acknowledgment of any solicitation amendments, and required VETS-4212 documentation are also necessary.
