The Housing Authority of the City of Jersey City will receive sealed bids for furnishing and delivery of hot water heaters for various developments for a period of one year with an option for an additional one-year term, and for furnishing and delivery of major appliances for all developments for a period of two years with the option for two additional one-year increments. Bids must be mailed or dropped off at the specified office address, with no late bids accepted. All bid openings will be held via video tele-conference or dial-in options only. Bidders must check the website seven days prior to the bid due date for any notices of change or addenda. Bids must be submitted on behalf of the corporation or entity whose qualifications and documentation are submitted. All bidding documents must be original and originally executed. A Business Registration Certificate must be supplied prior to contract award. All bids must be enclosed in a properly sealed envelope bearing the bidder’s name and bid title. Affirmative Action Program requirements are included. No bid shall be withdrawn for sixty days after the bid date without the consent of the Authority. Withdrawal and administrative charge schedules are included in the bid documents. Equal Employment Opportunity provisions apply for minority, women, veterans, and handicapped persons.
