Renovation of a municipal facility in Duluth, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Work to be performed includes re-covering the low sloped roofs on the main building. Bidders must submit sealed bids marked with the Bid Number, name of Bidder, and date and time of opening. One unbound original and two copies should be submitted. All bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference. Bids must be accompanied by a five percent (5%) bid bond. The successful contractor will be required to provide one hundred percent (100%) payment and performance bonds, and an insurance certificate as stated in the bid documents. Surety and insurance companies must meet stated qualifications. Bidders may not withdraw bids within sixty (60) days after opening. The contract must be completed within the allowable calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages of $1,000.00 per day for late completion. Bids for corporations not chartered in Georgia must include certification authorizing business in Georgia.
