Construction is Slab on Grade with spread footings, wood framing, and prefabricated wood trusses, 4. Mechanical and plumbing systems, 5. Electrical system and low-voltage design for a fully functional fire station, 6. Site improvements including concrete paving, parking, trash enclosure, emergency generator, fuel tank, patio spaces and landscape. All bidders must be on the Final Qualified Bidders List in order for their bid to be considered responsive. all bids will be considered for award by the City of Dixon City Council at their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 Questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail to Andrew MacDonald, P.E., Consultant Engineer, at amacdonald@cityofdixonca.gov. Responses to questions will be shared with all bidders via addenda. All questions must be received no later than 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 16, 2026. All Work shall be completed no later than three hundred and ninety working days (390) (approximately 1 and a half calendar year) after the date set in the Notice to Proceed. The City shall assess liquidated damages as provided for in the Contract Documents for delays in the completion of the Project. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any irregularity or informality in the bids, to make any award in what, alone, deems to be in the best interest of the City, and to reject the bid of any bidder who has been delinquent or unfaithful in any former contract with the City of Dixon. All bidders must be on the Final Qualified Bidders List in order for their bid to be considered responsive. Each bid must be submitted using the City of Dixon forms provided in the Bid materials. Bids may be withdrawn at any time prior to bid opening. A City of Dixon business license is required prior to awarding the project.
