The new facility may include one half below grade with one level above grade in its initial configuration, with the potential to add several additional floors above as future need dictates. The proposed parking structure will provide much needed parking to address continued growth in student enrollment, combined with recent losses of at-grade parking due to construction of Centennial Village Student Housing and the soon to be completed Ember Dining Hall. Design is projected to begin in June 2026 with final project completion anticipated prior to the start of the spring semester which begins the second week of January 2027. The final schedule for the project will be developed with the AE and CM/GC teams, in consultation with CMU.
