This Sources Sought Announcement is issued for market research purposes only to identify contractors capable of providing hazardous waste disposal services in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (DRAFT). The information submitted will be used by the Department of Veterans Affairs solely to support acquisition planning and procurement strategy decisions and will not result in a contract award. All information is preliminary, subject to change, and not binding on the Government. Contractors responding must demonstrate their capability to perform hazardous waste collection and disposal services consistent with the requirements outlined in the draft statement of work. The applicable NAICS code is 562112, Hazardous Waste Collection, with a small business size standard of $47.0 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 is seeking information from interested contractors that can support hazardous waste disposal requirements for the VA Central California Health Care System. Responses must include company socioeconomic status, SAM registration details, points of contact, a capabilities statement, relevant past performance for similar government or commercial projects, subcontracting approach in compliance with limitations on subcontracting requirements, and any applicable GSA contract information. Informational pricing is also requested using the attached pricing spreadsheet. The Government will use the information received to determine the appropriate business type and acquisition approach for a potential future solicitation.
