Sealed lump sum bids are to be received for the 2024 Capital Bond Project, specifically the Tappan Hill School Roof and Window Replacement under Contract No. 1 - ALL WORK. Bidders must refer to the Bid Documents for a detailed description of the required work. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of at least five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns, and the successful bidder will be required to provide specified insurance and payment and performance bonds for the full contract sum. Bidders must submit one original signed and sealed bid, plus two copies, in a sealed opaque envelope clearly labeled with the contract and project name. Bidders are responsible for timely delivery of their bids, as late submissions will not be accepted or opened. Complete digital and printed sets of Bidding Documents, Drawings, and Specifications can be obtained as described, with costs and arrangements specified, and only documents obtained through the official provider will establish a bidder as an official plan holder. Faxed or electronically transmitted bids will not be accepted. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities or technical defects, request additional information, or reject any or all bids and to advertise for new bids.
