Project was awarded to Monarch Paving Company with no awarded amount available The work consists of improvements on the following projects: CTH A (CTH KB – USH 12), CTH Q (Birch Street – Seymour Road), and CTH T (CTH CC – W Vine Street) in Eau Claire County. Alternate A includes 1.5-inch depth hot in-place recycled asphalt, micro surfacing, traffic control, pavement marking, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract. Alternate B includes 1.75-inch asphalt removal "milling," HMA pavement, traffic control, pavement marking, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract. The total length of projects is about 1.7 miles. Bidders may submit a single prime bid for all listed project IDs. Instructions to bidders include: - Submission of sealed bid proposals to the Eau Claire County Highway Department by the specified deadline. - Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 10% of the maximum base bid amount. - Bidders must be experienced in this type of work and either prequalified with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation or submit a completed Statement of Bidder's Qualifications. - The bidder is responsible for providing a proposed work schedule to be included with the bid submittal. - If awarded, the contract must be executed and all work completed by the specified completion date. - The bid form requires submission of the Proposal Agreement, Bid Security, List of Subcontractors, Statement of Bidder's Qualifications (if applicable), and Schedule of Items (with acknowledgment of addenda, if applicable). - The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
