In an effort to reduce utility costs, the Village of Bedford Park is seeking proposals from providers capable of designing, engineering, installing, and maintaining/operating a roof-mounted, behind-the-meter solar PV project at Village facilities. The solar PV array has already been designed and approved by the Village's Electrical Engineer. Proposers should review the pre-engineered solar array to understand the scope for bidding. Any adjustments to the proposed solar array need final approval by the Village's Electrical Engineer and Satori Energy. The Village wishes to self-own a solar array with a developer to Engineer, Procure, Construct, and Operate the system on the Village's land, with materials procured under Domestic Content standards as outlined by the IRS. The awarded contractor must provide complete construction drawings, documentation of adherence to Domestic Content standards, requested construction timeline documentation, and pricing to procure, construct, and operate the solar array. The Village will select one provider based on best value as defined in the selection criteria. Proposals must be submitted in person (sealed) or electronically. All responses must be submitted no later than the identified due date; late responses will not be considered. Each response will be confidential until the deadline, after which they become public.
