The Cabell County Board of Education invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for CMHS Additions and Renovations, as outlined in the Bidding Documents prepared by ZMM Architects and Engineers. Bidding Documents are available for download by prime contract bidders via request through ZMM Architects and Engineers, or hard copies may be obtained from Charleston Blueprint by general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and dealers at their own printing and mailing cost. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid. Bidders must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue and licensed to perform work in the State of West Virginia prior to submitting a bid. Registration and contractor license numbers must be included on the Form of Proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor informalities, and withhold final award of contract for 30 days after opening. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 days of award, utilizing bond forms contained in the Project Manual, in an amount at least equal to the contract sum. The cost of such bonds must be included in the bid.
