Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tappahannock, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of select installation of erosion and sediment control measures, demolition of existing flexible asphalt pavement, concrete curb and sidewalk, and installing new entrance with taper from Route 17 to the site, construction of new roadway and cul-de-sac, sidewalks, curbing, ADA ramps, pavement markings and signage, drainage improvement and site work. There is an optional prebid/proposal conference or site visit, and information regarding public opening of responses can be found in the solicitation documents.
