The project consists of the replacement and installation of LED sports field lighting at the Trumann Sports Complex, located at 16179 Pecan Grove Ln, Trumann, Arkansas. The work includes furnishing and installing LED lighting fixtures and associated equipment on sixteen existing 80-foot light poles, serving four fields (three softball fields and one baseball field). The current system has eighty-four fixtures, but due to LED technology, fewer may be proposed as long as the system meets required illumination standards of 30 footcandles in the infields and 20 footcandles in the outfields. The scope covers all materials, equipment, labor, removal of existing fixtures, installation of new LED fixtures, and system setup. The new lighting must provide both app-based controls and manual controls. The project is subject to Davis-Bacon Act wage requirements, applicable federal labor and reporting standards, Equal Employment Opportunity requirements, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, and Build America, Buy America Act requirements for domestically produced materials. Sealed bids are required; further instructions for submission are provided, and the City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed in its best interest.
