As of April 30, 2026 project was awarded to Jensen Excavating & Trucking LLC., awarded amount is $928,195.79. Furnishing all labor, material, and equipment to install the following estimated quantities: 3,183 CY Common Excavation; 3,549 Tons Aggregate Base, Class 5; 1,643 Tons Bituminous Paving; 4,897 SF 4" Concrete Walk; 1,179 LF Curb & Gutter Design B-624; 1,666 SF 6" Concrete Driveway Pavement; 679 SY Sodding Type Lawn; 496 LF RCP Storm Sewer Replacement; 1,454 LF C900 Watermain w/Tracer Wire; 117 LF PVC Sanitary Sewer Replacement; 4 Each Water Service Replacement; 2 Each Sanitary Sewer Service Replacement. A certified check or bidder's bond made payable to the City of Albert Lea in an amount equal to 5% of the total amount bid must accompany each proposal, such amount to be forfeited to the City in the event the bidder fails to enter into a Contract if awarded the bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable to the interests of the City. Complete removal and replacement of the pavement, curb & gutter, sidewalk, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and watermain. The existing concrete and bituminous pavements will be removed and replaced with a bituminous surface.
