The Ministry of Forests (FOR) invites proposals from qualified proponents to provide Professional and Technical Silviculture Services within the Merritt and Lillooet TSAs. The successful Proponent shall provide the following services: Complete Silviculture Surveys on approximately 1,460 hectares (the number of plots will be consistent with Schedule C section 4.4) of forest stands of both even-aged (single storey) and uneven-aged stands (multi-storey) in accordance with the most recent Silviculture Survey Manual, and the specifications and terms of the contract tender package. The Surveys include Regeneration (Stocking), Reconnaissance, Free Growing (FG), and Plantibility Surveys. The contractor (successful proponent) must complete survey plan maps, survey reports, and final survey maps. The contractor (successful proponent) must amend Site Plans (SPs) and submit for approval (if applicable), as well as update spatial information of amended units. The Contractor (successful proponent) must complete milestone declarations, schedule future activities, and forest cover information in RESULTS (Reporting Silviculture Updates and Land Status Tracking System) as per the latest RESULTS Information Submission Specifications - Government Funded Silviculture Activities Manual and the Post-Harvest Reporting Requirements for Small Scale Salvage Licenses to Cut Document.
