Site work for a water / sewer project in Athens, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project is for the North Prairieville Street Drainage Improvements. Sealed bids are to be submitted for the specified drainage improvements. Bid Security, Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds must be provided as directed in the instructions. A Bid Bond of 5 percent of the bid, or an equivalent certified check, bank draft, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds, must accompany each bid. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and qualification checks. The project is subject to American Iron and Steel requirements, Department of Labor regulations regarding affirmative action, and Davis-Bacon Act wage determinations. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with these conditions. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and encourages small and minority firms to submit bids.
