Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in St Johns Township, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The Scope of Work includes removal of the low water crossing on St. John's Creek Road crossing St. John;'s Creek, construction of a new bridge near the same location, and provides for excavations, pile driving, bridge construction, embankments, asphalt paving, pavement striping, guard rail, traffic control, fencing and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. Franklin County anticipates issuing notice to proceed in the spring of 2026. For a contractor to be awarded this project the contractor must have a fully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission at least 7 days prior to the bid opening date. All bidders must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the 2025 Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction.
