The Plainfield Park District is accepting bids for Engineered Wood Fiber at various sites. Each bid must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope clearly marked with the project name and bid number. The work is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and must comply with the prevailing wage determination for public works projects in Will County. A bid bond or bank cashier's check payable to the Plainfield Park District for ten percent of the bid amount is required. Bids submitted after the deadline will be rejected. All correspondence must be in writing via the designated email address. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and executive orders, including those for equal employment opportunity. The Park District reserves the right to waive technicalities, accept or reject any or all bids, and accept portions of a bid without disclosure. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
