Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Girard, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Bids are invited for removal and replacement of existing deteriorated ADA curb ramps, incidental sidewalks, asphalt pavement replacement, and site restoration as necessary. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bid bond with corporate surety payable to the County of Erie in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materialmen Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Additionally, the successful bidder will be required to furnish evidence of Worker's Compensation and Liability Insurance in the amount as required by the contract documents. Documentation of solicitations to Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) and Section 3 Business Concerns is to be submitted concurrently with the bid. Bidders are required to comply with Federal, State, and County Civil Rights and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements and the Federal Labor Standards Provisions including the requirement to pay prevailing wages under the Davis Bacon and Related Acts. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
