Lac La Biche County invites proposals for the design, supply, and installation of playground features for the Deer Ridge Playground located within the Deer Ridge community in Lac La Biche County, Alberta. The project scope includes developing play features in a municipal reserve area to serve children ages 5–12, providing a comprehensive solution involving design, equipment supply, site preparation, installation, and restoration of disturbed areas. The playground concept should emphasize natural play elements and a forest-inspired theme, with non-conventional play features that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. The selected contractor will be responsible for all construction activities, including site preparation, installation of equipment, engineered wood fibre fall protection as required, safety fencing during construction, final site cleanup, and coordination of a third-party playground inspection before opening. Proposals are to be submitted electronically in PDF format before the stated closing time. Late submissions will not be accepted. Proposals will be evaluated on design quality, play value for ages 5–12, project timeline, and pricing within a maximum project budget of $110,000 (excluding GST). All work must be completed by October 15, 2026.
