There are approximately 250 locations along gravel roads that require the application of a dust abatement product, with calcium chloride having been used in previous years. Most locations will receive 200 lineal meters of product, while some busier haul roads will receive 400 lineal meters. Road widths vary from 4 to 10 meters. The application rate will generally be approximately 2 liters per m², with reduced rates in areas already saturated from previous years' applications.
