Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Holgate, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a 180-square-foot water / sewer project; 740-square-foot water / sewer project; and 2,185-square-foot water / sewer project.

Wells No. 3 and 4 are equipped with submersible well pumps and are located in a well field north of Joe E. Brown Ave. Well No. 2 is equipped with a submersible well pump and is located between Keyser St. and Randolph St. Well No. 1 is located on the WTP site. The work includes the construction of a new booster station, consisting of a 740 square foot wood frame building with metal siding, two 150 gpm vertical inline booster pumps, yard and process piping, valves, electric actuator, electrical equipment, HVAC system, SCADA system, emergency standby generator, fencing, sitework, crushed stone parking and drive, grading, and restoration. It also includes coordination to connect to water mains installed by others. Water Treatment Plant improvements involve construction of a new valve vault and butterfly control valve, penetration and connection to the existing glass-lined ground storage tank, installation of new aeration, ventilation, and mixing equipment in the ground storage tank, miscellaneous ground storage tank improvements, installation of two new 150 gpm vertical turbine pumps and one new 530 gpm vertical turbine pump, new electrical service and equipment, new chemical feed equipment, a new 180 square foot wood frame Chemical Building with metal siding, a new 2,185 square foot wood frame Water Treatment Building with metal siding, each with HVAC systems, a new SCADA system, new mixing equipment and pressure transmitter manhole at the elevated storage tank, and miscellaneous elevated storage tank improvements, and coordination with other contracts as needed. Demolition includes removal of the existing water treatment plant building and equipment, buried detention tank, aerator, well house, electrical equipment, one concrete pump base, select existing process equipment, and removal of existing high service pumps. Four existing wells within the Village's corporate limits are to be abandoned in accordance with the Ohio Administrative Code. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond as per Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bids must include the full name of the bidder and all interested parties, and evidence of experience with similar projects. Use of Ohio products, materials, services, and labor is required where practicable. Contractors must comply with equal employment opportunity requirements as per Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 and comply with prevailing wage rates for public improvements in Henry County and the Village of Holgate. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or defects, reject any or all bids, or accept the lowest most responsible and responsive bid. No bid may be withdrawn within 75 days after the opening; extensions are possible by mutual agreement. Submission of a signed bid constitutes acceptance of all contractual and technical specifications. Bid security must be furnished as instructed.
