This Request for Proposals is an invitation to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Back Lane Reconstruction. The work involves reconstructing the backlane in Mission and Garden Crescent to improve its overall function and long-term performance. Tasks include removal of existing concrete, roadway base course and subgrade, and asphalt structure or millings as indicated in the plans; preparation of subgrade according to the Geotechnical Assessment Report and the City of St. Albert’s engineering standards; supply and placement of all roadway materials including gravel, asphalt, concrete, and all necessary materials; supply and placement of concrete for sidewalk, curb and gutter, curb ramps, and commercial crossings as indicated on the plans; landscape and tree protection to return the area to its original state; removal of timber retaining wall, railing, and fence; and installation of fence and guardrail.
