Repair the entire dust collection system at Camp Blanding Combined Support Maintenance Shop (CSMS) for the surface shop. Repairs will include servicing all ductwork, replacing all filters and flexible duct lines, evaluation and repair of any of the control system. The scope includes: inspecting the outside unit for any repairs not listed, cleaning and treating any rusted areas and painting all outside components, replacing exterior control devices, replacing all filters and filter covers, replacing all flexible ducting, operating and cleaning auger channels, inspecting and replacing lights as needed, checking all safety features, providing an operational review to end users, and providing closeout documents for any parts replaced. All work must be substantially complete within 90 calendar days from notice to proceed. Project must meet all applicable code and permitting requirements. Bidders governed by certain Florida Statutes must submit appropriate licenses or certifications with their bid. Contractors are subject to non-procurement debarment and suspension regulations, and certain restrictions apply regarding convicted or discriminatory vendors. A good faith deposit (bid bond) of 5% is required for bids over $100,000, and performance and payment bonds are required. Bidders are urged to inspect the site. All questions must be submitted in writing, and only written responses are binding. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the address specified; electronic submissions are not accepted. Bidders must also comply with insurance requirements and all federal, state, and local regulations.
