The contractor agrees to mow and trim the grass at the Malvern Park, located at 610 West Canal Street, Malvern, Ohio. This should be done between 24-30 times during the growing season. Specifically, the contractor shall mow, trim, and perform general pick up for three canal areas, picnic areas, top of hill by Dairy Queen, pavilion areas, designated ballfields, east side of ditch by sewer plant, and area from oil well to Big Sandy Creek. The designated ballfields shall be mowed two times per week from May 1 through June 15. In addition to mowing, the contractor shall clean the parking areas, sidewalk, and walking path of all cut grass and debris, as well as provide trash removal each time the park is mowed. Contractor will provide all necessary labor and equipment to complete work in a timely and necessary manner. Contractor will act and perform all necessary actions as an independent contractor and be liable as such. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process, and to accept any bid deemed most favorable to the Village. The Village further reserves the right to reject any bid that is incomplete, non-responsive, not in compliance with applicable laws, or not in the best interest of the Village. Submission of a bid does not obligate the Village to award a contract.
