Sealed bids are invited for furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform and complete the Friedt Park Parking Lot Improvements, Contract 2025-412, according to plans and specifications available at the City Engineering Office in Wadsworth, Ohio. The project must attain Substantial Completion by June 19, 2026. Bidders must be qualified by experience and properly equipped to complete the work in the allotted time. The engineer's estimate for the improvements is $300,000. Bids must be submitted on forms provided in the bid book, fully completed, and in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project name. Each bid must include a bid guarantee in the form of a bond for the full amount of the bid or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for 10% of the bid. Additional required documents include a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Statement of Bidder Resources and Experience. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates and domestic steel use requirements. Only those purchasing the bid book from AA Blueprint are eligible for consideration. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities. If a Bidder is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the plans, specifications, or other proposed contract documents, the Bidder may submit to the City Engineer a written request for an interpretation thereof.
