Sealed bids are requested for the 2026 Street Improvement Project, Contract 2026-270, to furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform and complete street improvements as specified. The scope includes pavement planing, partial depth pavement repairs, concrete base repairs, concrete curbing, asphalt resurfacing, pavement fabric, asphalt, drive aprons, and pavement markings including all appurtenances. Substantial Completion must be achieved by September 25, 2026. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "2026 Street Improvement Project, Contract 2026-270" and delivered to the Director of Public Service at City Hall, 120 Maple Street, Wadsworth, Ohio 44281. Bids are to be submitted on the forms provided by the City in the bid book, must be fully completed, and must include the full name of all parties submitting. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates and domestic steel use requirements. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee (bond, certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit), a Non-Collusion Affidavit, and a Statement of Bidder Resources and Experience. The City of Wadsworth reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities.
