The Work consists of renewal of water mains on Ashford Drive, Cloverdale Crescent, Herbert Avenue, McCalman Avenue, Foster Street, and installation of new water mains on Chester Street, all within the City of Winnipeg. The major components include the installation of approximately 1,720m of 150mm-200mm diameter PVC water main pipe by trenchless methods; abandonment of existing water mains as required; removal or abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required; installation of valves and hydrant assemblies; reconnection or renewal of water services connections; and restoration of pavement and boulevard areas.
