The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of Concrete Rubblization on St. Mary's Road (South Section) from Chrypko Drive to Paul Boulevard and Old St. Mary's Road (North Section) from Viking Road to Seniuk Road. The major components of the Work include: Concrete Rubblization, removal of existing culverts, installation of new CSP culverts, clay capping for slopes of new cross-culverts (0.3m thick), ditch excavation with varying bottom widths (1.0m, 1.5m, and 2.0m), ditch grading, preparation of existing road surface on side streets, milling of existing asphalt (50mm average), rubblization of existing concrete pavement, placement of geo-grid, placement of granular A base course, placement of SP asphalt in three lifts on the main line, restoration of private approaches (asphalt, concrete, and granular), maintenance of Forbes Road and other granular local streets (surface preparation and limestone surfacing material), placement and maintenance of Variable Message Signs (VMS), sodding of private lawns, and hydro-seeding of ditches.
