The work consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary for the following: exterior pressure wash, cleaning, and coating of the interior of the 3.0 MG Boiling Springs steel ground storage tank; cleaning and coating the exterior of the Boiling Springs 3.0 MG concrete ground storage tank and washout of its interior; cleaning and coating the exterior and interior of the 0.3 MG Carlisle elevated water storage tank; exterior pressure wash, cleaning, and coating spot repairs on the exterior of the bowl above the catwalk and interior washout of the 1.0 MG Firestone Elevated water tank; and completion of miscellaneous repairs to three elevated water storage tanks and two ground storage tanks. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least five percent of the total bid. No bid will be considered unless the bidder is legally qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina Contractor’s Licensing Law. A 100% Payment Bond and 100% Performance Bond will be required of the successful bidder. All bids shall be submitted as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Invitation for Bids/Information for Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities.
