Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide Waste Management Services (trash collection and removal) to Savannah State University (hereinafter, the State Entity or SSU) as further described in this eRFQ. Savannah State University is seeking a contracted supplier to provide waste collection services at the Savannah State University main campus location, SSU Foundation House, SSU Marine Science Research Center, SSU Coastal Georgia Center and Jasmine Avenue House. The addresses for the locations listed may be found on the Waste Container Locations attachment. The selected supplier will also be required to provide additional roll off containers and collection when requested for special or planned events. The selected provider will supply the needed containers as per the included specifications and provide collection services as per the frequencies as stated in the specifications. Savannah State University will select one supplier for this contract. The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and expire on June 30, 2027. The term of this contract will be for one year with four (4) one year renewal options for a maximum of 5 years.
