Replacement of various diameter sanitary sewer gravity mains and related appurtenances. Sealed bids are requested for the CWSRF Sanitary Sewer System Replacement CMGM230096(5). Prospective bidders may view and obtain copies of the bidding documents from the Issuing Office, Goodwyn Mills Cawood, LLC. Bidding documents are available for a fee, and partial sets will not be provided. Bid security must be furnished according to the instructions. The project requires compliance with all federal requirements applicable to the loan, including the American Iron and Steel Requirement and Build America, Buy America (BABA) mandates. All bidders shall, upon request, submit a list of projects successfully completed in the last two years with a similar scope of work and approximate construction cost. Bidders must comply with the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work proposed. Each bidder must deposit security with the bid as specified. Bids from contractors exceeding the established state licensing amount must display the license number on the outside of the proposal envelope. Bidders are responsible for timely delivery of their bids. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after opening. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and award the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.
