This is a Sources Sought notification for a construction requirement to install an Ion Exchange (IX) Resin System and perform associated upgrades to Base Well #4 at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. The Contractor is responsible for planning, designing, constructing, and managing all activities necessary to meet the objectives outlined in the Statement of Work. Work includes repurposing most of the existing IX resin bed system design previously installed at Well #3 and applying it to Well #4 to reduce PFAS and PFOA levels to non-detect, as current concentrations exceed the Federal limit of 4 PPT. The Government will not direct the Contractor's construction means and methods but will evaluate performance based on compliance with the defined objectives and acceptance criteria. The Contractor must develop the technical approach and all supporting documentation required to meet the SOW requirements. Draft attachments are available and will be finalized when the solicitation is posted. Location: Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. Estimated Cost Range: $500,000 – $2,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
