Site work and paving for a road / highway in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work comprises the complete milling and paving of Kraemer Avenue from North 2nd Street to North 3rd Street. This includes mobilization and demobilization, maintenance and protection of traffic, milling to a depth of 1.5 inches from curb to curb, installation of tack coat, placement of 9.5mm wearing course, sealing of all joints (curbs, inlets, manholes, concrete edges, and existing pavement edges to provide a watertight seal), milling pavement notches, workmanship, and all appurtenances necessary for a complete job in accordance with the contract documents. The adjustment of inlets, manholes, gas valves, and water valves will be handled separately by the Borough Department of Public Works and is not included in the scope of work. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price. The project is subject to Davis Bacon wage rates, Equal Employment requirements, and minority and women business enterprise participation goals. Bidders must submit documentary evidence of minority and women business enterprises contacted and commitments made, as well as documentation of solicitations and commitments with the bid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, or negotiate contract amounts. Question Deadline 03/26/2026 All communications relative to this Work shall be directed to the Engineer through PennBid no less than 5 calendar days prior to opening of Bids.
