Site work and paving for a road / highway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for the "2026 Road Project" on various roads in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County. The work includes: 1,455 tons of PG 64S-22 9.5 MM Scratch Course, 4,368 tons of PG 64S-22 9.5 MM Wearing Course, and 18,550 linear feet of 4" Double Yellow Center Line Stripping. All materials must comply with PennDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified. Proposals must be submitted on township-provided forms and clearly marked for the project. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to ten percent of the bid, payable to Tunkhannock Township. The winning bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract amount within 20 days of contract award. Tunkhannock Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or sections, to delete projects or portions based on budget constraints, and to waive technicalities that serve the township's best interest. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
