Site work and paving for a road / highway in Danville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
For the following Contract: Paving Contract: Furnish and place approximately 752 Tons Asphalt Wearing Course; 2,252 Ton Asphalt Base Course and perform 8,337 SY Milling. Prevailing Wage Rates shall be paid on the project. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of workers compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Milling of Asphalt Pavement Surface This work is the milling and removal of an existing Asphalt pavement surface, with specified equipment, to the depth indicated in accordance with Publication 408 Section 491 and as directed by the municipality. . The contractor is responsible to coordinate the disposition of the milling prior to the contract let date. Asphalt Base Course 25.0 mm Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, Base Course, PG 64S-22, < 10 million ESALs, 25.0 MM Mix. Furnish and place Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, Base Course, PG 64S-22, < 10 million ESALs, 25.0 MM Mix at the compacted depth listed above across entire cross-section of roadway as directed by the municipality. Incidental to this item of work is Asphalt Tack Coat in accordance with the Publication 408 Section 460 on existing roadway
