Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Montour County Administration Center HVAC Upgrades. Bids will be accepted from prime construction contractors in General/HVAC Construction. Bid envelopes must be sealed, clearly marked with the project name, and include the due date and time. Bidders may obtain bidding documents by contacting the specified architect and must pay a non-refundable deposit for electronic documents. Each bid must include bid security in the form of a certified check or bank draft payable to Montour County, or a satisfactory Bid Bond from an acceptable surety in an amount equal to 10% of the total bid. A fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit must be included. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for both a Performance Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Base Bid, from sureties licensed to do business in Pennsylvania. Only registered bidders will receive any addendums. Attendance at the mandatory prebid conference is required, as this is the only time the project site will be available for visitation. Montour County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, or negotiate contract amounts. Documents have to be purchased from the architect in order to bid.
