The work consists of the removal of existing asphalt roofing and all related components on Building 16. The contractor is to provide new standing seam metal roofing, soffit, fascia, gutters, downspouts, snow bars, splash blocks, and all related components. All potential bidders must be certified by the DOA prior to submitting bids on state construction projects with budgets over $100,000. Bids from non-certified contractors will be rejected. Sealed bids can be submitted via PDF through the eBuilder Bidding Portal, by US Mail or third-party delivery, or by hand delivery to the specified location. The bidder is responsible for ensuring delivery of the bid before the submission deadline. Only PDF files with original wet signatures or properly transmitted electronic signatures are accepted. Construction bidding documents are available only as downloadable electronic files in PDF format from the Division of Facilities Development website. No deposit is required to obtain documents for bidding purposes. Contract offers and construction records will be processed electronically via eBuilder. This project contains federal funding and requires contractors to comply with all federal requirements for products and materials, including those under the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act. State prevailing wage requirements do not apply, but Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements may. A non-mandatory pre-bid tour is scheduled at the project site, and contractors are encouraged to attend. Access to the site requires identification and meeting at the security entrance for escort to the meeting site. Failure to visit the site or examine all contract documents does not relieve the successful contractor from furnishing materials, equipment, or performing work required by the contract documents.
