Site work and new construction of a library in Bourne, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a library; and for site work for a library.
The Town of Bourne requests proposals from qualified Owner's Project Managers (OPM), as defined by Massachusetts state law, to provide project management services for the construction of a new Library. The OPM will work with the Library Building Committee and Town Officials to assist in obtaining the services of a design firm for the facility and all site amenities. The project manager will act as the owner's agent throughout the design and bid phases, and, if construction funds are allocated, through the construction and warranty phases. All submissions must be sealed responses marked for the Library Building Project – OPM RFQ and delivered to the Town Administrator's Office. Late submissions will be returned unopened. Fax submissions and postmarks will not be accepted. The contract will be awarded, if at all, on a negotiated basis and subject to all procedures outlined in the RFQ and applicable law. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all responses, to waive informalities, and to award in the best interest of the Town. Last day to submit questions is April 10, 2026 no later than 12:00 Noon. As of April 30, 2026, further information regarding a selected project manager has not yet been made available. A timeline for construction has not been established.
