Rehabilitation of approximately 85 existing sanitary sewer manholes throughout the Village. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and scope. Each bidder is required to furnish with their proposal a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The bid bond may be in the form of a bid guarantee, letter of credit for 100% of the project, or certified check from a solvent bank or cash in the amount of 10% of the total bid submitted. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide such surety. Checks should be made payable to the Village of Marshallville. Bid guarantees/bid bonds will be returned to all unsuccessful bidders. The owner requires substantial completion of the project by August 1st, 2026, with final completion by August 31st, 2026. All contractors and subcontractors involved will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates for Public Improvements in Wayne County, Ohio. Bidders are required to use the bidding forms included in the contract/bidding specifications. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to disregard non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids.
