The City of Salem Facilities Services Division is requesting bids for the services of an experienced roofing contractor for performing installation of new roofing, removal of old roofing, roof repair, cleaning, and other roof related maintenance work at various City of Salem locations. Bids must be submitted electronically using Equity Hub's Bid Locker platform. Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid must accompany each submission. Bids should be submitted on the forms provided, and must arrive prior to the closing date and time. Prospective bidders are responsible for checking the OregonBuys website for addenda and updates. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for thirty days. Contracts will obligate the contractor to comply with federal, state, and local civil rights and rehabilitation statutes, rules, and regulations. Bids exceeding $50,000 are subject to prevailing wage statutes.
